iiSmall service is true service while it lasts. After much planning the monitor system finally got under way this year. The monitors have taken on many more responsibilities and duties in accordance with the new program. The new addition to the monitor system is that ol the hall monitors, who go to assigned posts during the passing of classes. The students have taken an active interest in this organization and thus the school spirit has improved. Through the careful guidance and leadership of Miss Kirkpatrick, the group was greatly inspired. Through the coordinated effort of each individual. the position of Student Participation as a part of the school organization was greatly strengthened. W UUHITHI -io

'Um ' rs l'MLlSiC Hath Charms 'I I A 56 A A ln everybody's life music has a certain place. This especially is true with the fifty mem- bers who devote their time conscientiously to develop excellent programs which are enjoyed by all. The Christmas Candle Light Service was an excellent example of this hard-working attitude. This program. under the excellent direction of Miss Burn. proved a success and brought an inspiring atmosphere over all of the attentive audience. The Clubs are practicing for their final performance in May. The Spring Concert, a merge of the boys' and girls' Glee Clubs. will be the climax of hours of hard work and studying. As beautiful and exciting as the program will be, it will be sad for almost half of the club who will be leaving through graduation. It has been many years since there was a Boys' Glee Club as there is now. Led by Mr. Doran the boys have responded eagerly. Fifty voices combined in deep, rich tones would make any one as proud of them as wc arc. .r th JJ . qi, X cfx ur L. TXi 'Q
