Nelson. Superintendent of the Ector School. Womanless Wedding High-lights All the classes have a project. Everyone works hard. Johnny and Robert have fun getting wet. Roy is the tar- get for the dart throw. Mike and Chris work hard at the washer throw. 4 Halloween Carnival All the men enjoyed participating in the Woman- less wedding. The beautiful bridesmaids pose for a picture. The father and mother of the bride are happy. The flower girl helps the preacher. Chris Sellers was the Valedictorian, and Betty Sells was Salutatorian. Mrs. Garcia was the sponsor who worked with the students on the graduation program. Joe Large read the Class Will, and Terry Johnson read the Prophecy. High School Graduation Everyone was anxious to get their diplomas. We were all excited and nervous as the final moment had arrived. 16 Deep sea Fishing Highlights Senior Trip U A RTS The Seniors went fishing from Port Aransas. Mr. Finnell almost caught the biggest fish! Most of the fish were sharks. Vickie’s fish got away, and she would like to get away from this ham- merhead shark who is too close for comfort. In the middle is the monster from Padre Island. Everyone enjoyed swimming in the surf, beachcombing, and lying in the sun. Some people got too much sun and came home looking a little like lobsters. Girls Basketball By statistics, the girls didn't do too well, but they worked hard and improved a little bit each game. The last game of the season, the girls played their hearts out and almost upset Dodd City, who went on to win bi district. Next year the team will be without the leadership of three graduating members: Karen Large. Vickie Abbott, and Judy Hill. 31 Boys Varsity Team Dann Bush, Chris Hopkins. Johnny Whitehead, Mike Cox, Jeff White, Tommy Bellows, Robert Spindle, Roy Garda Coach Ray Hamilton Manager Randy Godwin Boys Basketball The boys had a very successful season this year. Trenton ran all over everybody except Ector, w ho lost by only 3 points. The score was 53 to 50. The boys finished third in the District. The graduating varsity players are Tommy Bellows.
