Ector's Math Program is one of the finest in the State Mathematics is Queen ot the Sciences and Arithmetic, the Queen ot Mathematics, says the master mathematician, C. F. Gauss. Here at Ector our mathematics program attempts to help the student realize this idea to its tullest. Numerous learning aids are used in each course ot our math curriculum, a program recognized as one ot the loest in the state. The department otters unlimited opportunities tor those students who enioy and exert ettort in the math program. interscholas- tic League events in Slide Rule and Number Sense. the annual Mathematical Association ot America Contest, the Science Fair, and other games and contests help to make the learning ot mathematics a pleasure.
