E IORS Shirley Jordan Jean is acharming miss who is full of fun and mischief. She likes to laugh and her favorite pastime is singing. Jean has an ambition to be a seamstress. She belong- ed to Choir, G.A.A. , and E-Teens. ug! Gloria Lawson Service minded Gloria plans to become a missionary someday. She is President of the Church Youth Department and a member of the Senior Choir. Don Kernan Dynamic Don was one of our most out- standing football players during his high school years. Rub, as he is known to his friends, belonged to Teenage, Choir, and the Varsity Club. He may be short, hut he couldn't be beaten as quarterback in his junior Year. Rub played three years of varsity football. He has also been rowing with the Ecorse Boat Club. Barbara Lunsford Barb, with her quiet and modest ways has gained a great dealof respect among her friends. She has also gained lots of popularity by being one of our best ma- jorettes during the past four years. Barb has an ambition to be a big success as a wife and a mother. She was a member of Teenage, O. G. A., O. A. T., and Choir. Donald Lang Don is one of the more quiet and re- served boys. Because of his patience and understanding, Don's ambition is to become a teacher. He is on the col- lege course and plans to travel. He was a member of the Spanish-Latin Club and the Ecorse High School Marching Band. Catherine McFadden Catherine is a swell girl with lots of per- sonality. She enjoys basketball, roller skating and swimming. Catherine's am- bition is to be a nurse, and we are sure she will make a good one. She was a member of G.A.A., E-Teens , and is especially interested in dancing.

Robert Holbrook It was a happy day for Ecorse when Bob set foot here from Georgia. He was a good baseball player as well as a foot- ball player. lie enjoys his sports. Bob is on the College Course and plans to be an architect. Mary Kay Hollobaugh Although Mary Kay came to Ecorse High during her senior year, she ig known and liked by all. VVhile a student at St. Francis Xavier, Nlary was a cheer- leader. She also belonged to Student Council and Sodality. SE IORS Edward Hughes Eddie came to us from Southwestern, and we were proud to have him as a member of our class. He is on the College Course and preparing to go to college to be an engineer. The sports he particularly en- Marie Isaacson Marie has a sparkling personality and belonged to such numerous clubs as Art, Camera, Teenage, G.A.A., Girl's En- semble, Choir, Bird and Biology and is also a member of Student Council and the Annual Staff. Marie's ambition is to get married and she has such approp- riate hobbies as cooking and sewing for the future. Freddie Mae Jewell Most of ,her friends nicknamed her je- well, so we'll stick to that. Jewell wants to become a typist. She is also interested in sewing and enjoys many sports. She was on the commercial course and be- longed to O,B.A.,O.A.T., and G.A.A. joys are Varsity Track, Football and Basketball. Eddie belonged to the E- Teen Club Spanish Club, and Student Police. Roosevelt Jones l'Pete is one fellow that has really con- tributed to many of our wins in football in the 1952 season. He also was on the track team and played varsity basketball We feel sure that Pete will go far in the world of sports. He was on the gen- eral eourse and spent much of his time in printing.

If Ffa. Beverly McKeith Here is a lasswhose blushing complexion can brighten up the gloomiest Clay, Mickey is the nickname to which she answers. l'ler hobbies are anything concerning sports. She is an expert at tennis and belongs to recreation basket- ball and baseball teams. She also be- longed to Teenage, O.A.T., Pep Club, Bi mlogy Club. and the Annual Staff. Lyle Meinke Grasshopper may be short, but his hum- orous remarks and personality have made him one of the most fun-loving boys in the class. Although he only participat- ed in rowing for Ecorse, he was also in- terested in football. VVhile in school he was a member of the band and Teenage. Grasshoppefs main interest is dancing. SENIOR George Margitan This rugged. all-star center has played i arsity football three years. In his junior year George was picked All-League in the Nlellus Paper, and All-Area Center in his Senior Year. Ile was co-captain of the 1953 season and also was presented with a trophy for being the most valu- able player for 1952. Some of his other activities have been the Spanish Club and rowing for the Ecorse Boat Club. Harriet Matoras Fun-loving and sports-minded Mattie likes to play baseball, basketball, and volleyball. She belonged to the Annual Staff, Teenage, Pep Club, Senior Choir, Bird and Biology Clubs, O. T. A., O. G. A., and G.A. A. james Montroy This all-around, good-looking athlete has carried Eeorse to many victories in football, basketball, and baseball. He served as Jr. Class Vice-President, and is a member of the Varsity Club, Spanish Club, Teenage, and Choir. jim is also interested in drawing and wishes to be- come a commercial artist. John Montroy -lack is the charging football hero of Ifcorse lligh. VVhenever the conversation is focused on sports, jack becomes active. Jack played varsity football, making All-Area in his Senior Year. lle played varsity baseball and basketball, being successful in each of them. jack is a a member of the Varsity Club and wants
