Text from Pages 1 - 80 of the 1980 volume:

COUGAR Students Page 10 Sports Page 32 Activities Page 50 There are many roads in the journey of life, and it is up to each individual to decide which fork they want to take. Up to now, in each individual's life, he has known the happiness or pain of taking the right or wrong path. In the future there will be many more turns in the road of life. We must realize the importance of each fork we now take. The paths we take in high school are the most important in determining what our future is, whether the road is happy or sad. Dedication The EHS Annual Staff is proud to dedicate the 1980 Cougar to Miss Ethel Lee. Miss Lee has been at EHS for seven years. During this time she has been a teacher, a counselor, a coach, and sometimes even our doctor. She has been all of these, but most of all, she has been a friend to each and every student. She's a person who always is helping people, from finding them jobs to bandaging their toes. She always has a listening ear to students' problems and complaints. She gives a lot to EHS, but most of all she gives her time and love. We all thank her very much and that is why we dedicate the 1980 Cougar to her. Thanks, Miss Lee! Building Project This year at EHS we saw the near completion of the new building. We saw the walls rise and change color before our eyes. We had hoped to move in this year, but will not be able to. However, the wait will make us appreciate the new building much more. 4 Administration School Board i Mrs. Janie Enright, School Secretary Mrs. Betty Fulleton, Deputy Clerk Mr. Verle Bechtel, Superintendent SCHOOL BOARD: Dick Snow, Lanny West, Bob Hale, John Ramos, Glenn Rohde, Jean Day, Chairman Kaye McAtee. 5 STAFF Elaine Ramos Carol Ramos Burl Wattenburger u These are the people that keep E.H.S. running.
