HOMECOMING Sophomore Princess Laurie Brooks, Freshman Princess Lori Hesterlee, and Senior Princesses Tracey Horn Carrie Day, Junior Princess Gina Mitchell, Queen and Kelly Fitzhugh. Spirit Week and Homecoming festivities started October 30. Monday was Kiddie Day, Tuesday Crazy Day, Wednesday 50's Day, Thursday Switch Day and Friday Dress-up Day. Thursday night was the noise parade. The parade started at Sam's 76 station and ended at the football field, where Seniors were announced parade winners. The next activity was the carpushing contest, won by the juniors, followed by a tug-of-war. The seniors and freshmen fought the sophomores and juniors, with the seniors and freshmen winning. A hot dog roast was held .er. Class competition was held at the bonfire, with the junior high winning. The Homecoming game was played against Cascade Locks on Friday. During half-time, Lori Hesterlee was crowned queen. The Cougars went on to win the football game 38 - 12. A dance ended the homecoming festivities with the band, Texas Gold, playing the music. 6
