120 Second Time in History, juniors Upset Seniors Only twice in the history of Furr High School has a Junior Class triumphed over the Seniors in a powderpuff game. It was done in 1970 and again this year by the Class of '75 as they defeated the Seniors 14-12. Alma Washington and Bridget Wiltz made the two touchdowns for the Junior Class. After the extra point conversion, the score was Juniors 14- Seniors 0. After halftime, Adrain Mosley made both of the senior touchdowns. The attempts for the extra points failed, leaving the final score 14-12. The Powderpuff King was Bob Pfannstiel. The Knight-In-Waiting was Ricky Phillips.
