Junior High Gridders Have Winning Seasons The seventh and eighth grade football teams kept up the Jr. Brahman football image as the seventh grade went unde- feated and the eighth grade had a season record of 5-2. The seventh grade football team went undefeated in the 'l 97 2 football season under the coaching of Earl Scofield. In their 5-game season, the seventh graders shut out all but one team. The Baby Brahmans defeated Marshall, 30-0, Fonville, 40-0, Sharpstown, 28-12, Black, 32-0, and Thomas, 56-0. The eighth grade football team had a season record of five wins and two losses. Under the coaching of Richard Bain, the eighth graders placed second in district. The score of their games were Dowling, forfeit, Hamilton, 14-6, Fleming, 6-0, Marshall, 0-28, Edison, 57-0, Smith, 8-12, and McReynolds, I4-12. lTop1 SEVENTH GRADE FOOT- BALL TEAM. lkighlj Eighth grader Tommy Ortiz finds himself open as he receives a pass.
