Trcickmen Set New School Records Furr's track team coached by, Bill Simmons broke five school records and tied two records during the track season. Malcolm Piper broke the school record in the 330- yard intermediate hurdles with a time of 38.6. Gregory Lawson was a double record breaker as he broke the school record in the 100-yard dash with a 9.8 clocking. He also set the broad jump mark with a jump of 22'6'! Kenny Millsap threw the discus to record throw of 134'. Jim!Plckering pole vaulted to a top height of 11'10'4'. The Brahmans placed third in the district track meet on April 22. Kenny Millsap in the shot-put, Mal- colm Piper the hurdles, Gregory Lawson in the high jump and broad jump, and Jim Pickering on the pole vault all placed first in district.
