It would be equally dis- astrous however, to underestimate the value of his- tory and social studies. Based on this premise, the Memorial High curriculum contains a sufficient Variety of subjects in this field. All students on the sophomore level are offered an elective in the form of World history. juniors, however, are required to take U. S. history, a very beneficial course. Four general divisions of history are provided for all students in their senior year. Pointing out locations on the map for Steve Pa ladie and Dennis Martenson is Susan Taylor Mr. Betg's lectures never cease to hold the interest of his senior social economics class.
