lndividualism is seen in many ways, but no where is it more vividly demon- strated than in the activities we partici- pate in. Something to spark everyone's interest is one key to education and through clubs an extra curricular touch is added. From camping to drama, Shamrocks indulge in relaxing pastimes. But there is a serious side, our roles as responsible young adults-Student Council, school projects, fund raising drives and pulling the ropes of student govemment-all combine in making E. C. our place of lscholarlyj pursuit and without a doubt-E. C. Incorporated.

S The Naval junior Reserve Ollicers Train- ing Corps is the start of special education, self development, and opportunity, de- signed to complement courses taught in the last three years of high school. This year it was added for the first time to our curriculum. Among other things, it pro- vides each student with a general knowl- edge of the military and develops skills conunensurate with those entering the Navy at the E-3 level or a higher degree of skills for those who are capable. The stu- dent response to this program has been very good, and a girl's NIROTC will be added. The naval junior Reserve Officers Training Corps.
