HOMECOMING NIGHT 1978 This year's Homecoming was a huge suc- cess. Following a week long flurry of activi- ties ami school spirit from each class the Beaver team was led to victory over the New Buffalo Bisons. The final score was 28- 0. The evening included the final judging of the class floats, which followed the Home- coming theme of How the Beavers Won the West. The Grade Prize winner was the freshman float which displayed the idea The Beavers Train the Bisons. Half lime activities included a perform- ance by the hand and the selection of Homecoming King. This year's underclassman representa- tives were: 8th grade — David Dohm and Penny Watkins, freshmen — Mike and Michelle Bonebrighl. sophomores — Kevin Gatchcll and Kathy Molter. juniors — John Hopkins and Kay Krieger. Senior candidates for king and queen were: Kathy Andres and Jeff Juergcnsen, Beth Hicks and Jimmy Lcitz. Eileen King and Ken Hughes. Bonita McAfee and Kevin Mitchell. Ouann Costanza and Mark Vladic. Randy Rowady and Ken Zielke. Lori Dustin and Steve Nichols. Robin Schlipp and Tim Garrison. Carol Aldrich and Jon Ertman. Linda Feltner and Kevin Reed. Ronda San Cartier and Daryll Davis. Jackie Adams and Butch Price. Nancy Falter and David Bishop. Karen Jarvis and Jay Merrill. After the game a victory dance was held to conclude the Homecoming Week activi- ties.
