Mr. Jessup, Top: Nothing to it — But do it. Mr. Flagel, Bottom: I have received much advice in my life. The best, however, would be: 1. ) Whatever the personal cost or sacrifice, finish college and earn a degree; 2. ) To fill the emptiness in my life and to realize “Peace With God” (Romans 5:1), accept “The Gift Of God Which Is Eternal Life Through Jesus Christ Our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) What is the best advice Mr. Conto. Top: Punt on third down, it confuses the opponent. Mrs. Jewel. Bottom: I am responsi- ble for my own life. 1 am the cause of what happens to me, of how I feel and how I look. I have power over myself. I choose. If I am unhappy, it is because I choose to be. My destiny is what I choose it to be. you ever had? Mr. Holm: A star of my magni- tude can never be completely dimmed. Mrs. Marks, Not Pictured. 14

Do you think students are changing? Mr. Kime, Top: Yes, students are changing and changing in a variety of ways. They are much more aware; more into self-understanding and self- awareness; more demanding; more confident in themselves; more alone; more willing to try new experiences; more involved; less willing to endure the hardships of self-discipline and then more surprised to find doors and opportunities closed to them. Finally, they care more — and that’s what keeps me coming back. Mr. Halgren, Bottom. Mr. Gray, Top: The change I see that is encouraging lies in the emotional maturity and respect that the early level high school student displays. The Age of Permissiveness weaned its gen- eration and they are disappearing from the high school classroom. A new type is arriving which I feel says good things about the future of the education proc- ess and of America. Mr. Pica, Bottom: Yes I think students are changing. They are demanding more in what goes on in the world but do not wish to accept the responsibility that goes with it. Mrs. Hahn, Top: Yes, but only because society has as well as what parents are expecting from them. Schools are also changing and the entire process is not unnatural, although we seem to be liv- ing in a rapidly changing era which makes life better for everyone. Many times goals are not developed and the uncertainty which affects society is par- tially responsible for this. Ms. Wallen. Bottom: No. students are still deciding what their life goals will be and how to attract the opposite sex — the same as in the olden days. 13

What do you feel is your biggest accomplishment as a teacher? Miss Annis. Mr. Shoop, Top: Defeating the stu- dents at volleyball for three straight games. Mrs. Goldner, Bottom. Mrs. Greenhaw, Top: Teaching the students more about themselves. Mr. Down. Bottom. 15
