fJjOtcyv UluL Being a world Class Motocross rider is a dream of many and a reality of few. Eau Claire High School senior Bob Rutter has made his dream a real- ity. This reality like any thing worth- while, has come with much hard work and some personal injuries. Bob started riding at the age of 5, and has been racing pro for more than a year. Bob's credentials in racing include the 1974 District 15 (Indiana and Michigan) high point rider in the 125cc Class, high point District 15 rider in 250cc division. He also won the District hare scramble, and at the Trans AM A Inter- national race, Bob had the Red Bud Trail dialed in with his Bultaco and ran away with a respectable fourth for a third over-all victory. While riding in Florida this spring, Rutter dislocated his shoulder, he came back to win the AMA support class. Among his credits this year are wins at Midland, Michi- gan and Reveno, Ohio. 19

This year he took a major step in that direction by winning his weight class in the State Weightlifting Meet. Hard work, determination and the satisfaction of knowing he is doing his best, typify Don Bailey and his dream.

Utss 1976 Ellen Newsome was crowned Miss Eau Claire of the Miss Blossomtime Festival. She is eighteen years old. During her high school years Ellen has participated in cheerleading and vol- leyball. She is a member of the National Honor Society and was Salu- tatorian for her class. Ellen plans to study engineering at Michigan Tech.
