D eflkc fZott The 1974-75 Annual Staff would like to dedicate this year's annual to Mr. Donald McAlvey. Mr. McAlvey came to Eau Claire in January of 1970 as Superin- tendent of Eau Claire Public Schools. He received his education from several Michigan Colleges. Receiving his Bachelor's Degree from C.M.U. in June of 1940, he then went on to receive his Master’s Degree in June of 1949, from the U. of M. He completed his educa- tion with graduate work at W.M.U. These schools sent him into teaching for eleven years, and as an administrator for thirty-four. Mr. McAlvey is a member of the Eau Claire Lions Club, Berrien Springs Rotary, Benton Harbor United Church of Christ, and many other professional organizations. In his years at Eau Claire, Mr. McAlvey has been instrumental in creating new programs in curricu- lum, as well as, being a major contributor to the plans and building for the new high school.
