PRINCIPAL S MESSAGE Congratulations to the annual staff for successful venture into yearbook pub- lication. The value of this book will become more evident as each of you grows older. The opportunity to take part in a production of this type is a learning experi- ence in which students accept responsibility, are trained for leadership, have the privilege of making mistakes, and participate with their fellow classmates. This is very important to gain a total education. I hope all of you have achieved: 1. a love of learning for learning's sake. 2. a maximum development of your intellectual powers. 3. the ability to think critically. 4. the capacity to make logical, valid judgements. 5. the ability to communicate skillfully. 6. an aesthetic and cultural appreciation. 7. a pride of country. 8. an awareness of your strengths and weaknesses. Best wishes to each of you and may you be successful in your chosen work. Sincerely, Russell L. Richards, principal
