Q s juniors were first to arrive at the dummy site. Bring ing the dummy back to his resting place the Juniors strung up the effigy. Fire was set to the pile of rubbish. The dummy's death was a premonition of Friday night's game with Rochester. Friday, the big day of the season, was a finale of the whole week. School spirit was still mounting as almost every student wore blue and white. The pep assembly was held in the town square after a snake dance down mainstreet. vpn st b P' ln the evening u car caravan was lcd throughout the streets of Eatonville. The caravan ended at the foot- ball field just in time for the big game. As half- time ended the Cruisers had marched to a 12-O lead. With half-time came the introduction of the Home- coming coLu't. Frosh attendant was Kris Hoff. Her escort at the game was Jim Jensen, at the dance Gary Barlow. Sophomore attendant was Doreen Bentley, escorted by Reggie Dolman. Wednesday spirit continued with Jersey Day. Thursday was Cruiser Day. Students came to school ready for a hard day dressed in their best. The dummy hunt ended the day. X S X game and Terry Wilson at the dance. Senior Queen candidates were Pat Chapman, Kathy Malcom, and Linda Merrill. Escorts at the game were Buzz Burgess, Jim Sillars, and Jack Chappell. Senior quarterback John Nordstrom was chosen Homecoming King and came out of the locker room at half-time to crown as the 1970 Homecoming Queen, Kathy Malcom. Game action con- tinuedg the Cruisers' victory score was 18-6. Later at the dance the court was again presented. Senior escorts were Jim Sarver, Denny Anderson and Alan Gallegous. The dance was a success and at midnight Homecoming week was victoriously over. 12 HOMECOMING
