BEISER Superintendent A.B., Central Michigan College M.A., University of Michigan They Build During the past year. the main purpose of the Board of liducation has been the improvement of the curriculum in our public schools. One of the niost predominant issues has been that of reorcfanization of the school system. An area studies report was given to the Board which recommended consolidation as the only solution for overcrowded conditions. Our enrollment started to increase in 1945. and since that time nearly six hundred additional students have entered school. The question of reorganization opened when nine- teen rural schools circulated petitions in favor of this. proposition. 3 M RS. CHARLOTTE Nl V '57 - .4 SMITH Superintendentk St'crt'tary MR. C. L.
