Although they had little experience, a poor field for practice, and poor equipment, they more than stood their own. They had the old school spirit in their veins and showed the speed of the Greyhounds. The first two triangular meets were Won with flying colors. Next came the Hastings Relay with a third place for us, and then on to Albion to take second place and Win a trophy. Then We were off to East Lansing for the Conference meet for third place. We took a thrilling second in the Regional. Next and last We Went to the State meet. We did very Well here taking tenth place out of about fifty schools. ln the State meet four of our boys showed their speed.
