Promoting Education Adv PERRY L. BIXLER: Mr. Bixler teaches history classes and is the eighth grade class sponsor. He has also sponsored the F. T. A. this year. JOSEPH J. BROWNING: Mr. Browning has taught classes in biology, typing, history and arithmetic this year, which have occupied his time completely. JOHN R. CARTER: Mr. Carter, a new teacher this year, has successfully taught six English classes during the year. ESTA P. COCHRAN: Miss Cochran teaches all the advanced high school mathematics courses. She has also been the co- sponsor of the senior class this year. JACK F. HENDERSON: Mr. Henderson teaches grade music in addition to his band and chorus work. He sponsors the newly-formed dance band, also. DOROTHY D. HENSLEY: Mrs.Hensley, the busy cafeteria supervisor, also teaches home econo- mics. In addition, she sponsors the F.H.A. STANLEY D. LANDFAIR: Mr. Landfair, a busi- ness education major, fills his daily schedule with various classes in this field. BARBARA S. MORGAN: Mrs. Morgan is the head librarian, advisor of the yearbook, and freshman class sponsor in addition to teaching several Eng- lish classes.

ring School Activities ' J DON R. MORRIS: Mr. Morris, senior class sponsor, teaches art and drafting, and he has been the junior high basketball coach this year. JOHN E. NICHOLS: Mr. Nichols is the varsity basketball coach and teaches driver training, health and safety, and physical education. FRANK E. PARKER: Mr. Parker, in his first year at Eaton, has taught several classes in both science and arithmetic. CARL W. RARICK: Mr. Rarick comes to Eaton every two years to teach Bible, which is con- sidered an English course. DELORES K. ROBBINS: Miss Robbins teaches physical education and English. She sponsors G. A. A. and has charge of the cheerblock and cheerleaders. JAMES L. SCHWARZKOPF: Mr. Schwarzkopf teaches all agriculture classes and sponsors the F. F. A. He has also been the sophomore class sponsor. BARBARA E. SLUSHER: Mrs. Slusher teaches Latin, shorthand, and English. She also works in the office and advises the Lens staff. JOHN R. SLUSHER: Mr. Slusher teaches busi- ness education, arithmetic, and physical edu- cation. He is the second team coach and the junior sponsor.
