Shouting into the cloud-spread sky, an upraised arm in a peo- ple-packed bleacher, and a facial testimonium of feeling, all are forms of opinionated stands. To develop a stand de- mands a reevaluation of values, attitudes and goals that some find confusing. Others come out of this examination and embark down paths of individ- uality rare in the conforming atmosphere of high school.
