Class History °!! November 17, 1958, President Bill Galvin called to order the 155 members o the C.lass ol 1959. Sheryl Gillmor held the office of Vice-President while Judy Jones took the minutes anil Bob Gentile handled financial matters. I he Senior Play was the first big asset to the Treasury. The main roles were capably handled by Elfie Labuda and Pat Pyrah (Alice), Carolyn Cardinale and Carol Dugan (Essie), Mary Jewell and Barb Bentz (Penny), Glenn Kray and Phil Schmidt (Tony), and Bill Snyder as Mr. Vanderhof. Mr. Allyn Philips was the very expert director. In May a record dance was held to which parents and students alike were invited. Under the leadership of Bill Snyder a Class Day was held June 3. Many eager students participated in the entertainment. In the main ballroom of Hotel Syra- cuse on June 5 the social activities of the “Class of 1959” came to a thrilling close. Many gay and starry-eyed couples danced merrily to the music of Jack Kreischer and his orchestra. Commencement ceremonies were held June 22. Thus endeil a year that will forever be a fond memory in the hearts of the “Class of 1959.”
