I ' ' I I I 1 2 History of the Class of 1954 FALL TERM Following the distribution of ballots prepared by the nominating commit- tee, the senior class, numbering 147. chose Edward Hannon as their president. Janice Lindstrom assisted Ed as vice-president, with Mata Battye as secretary and Anthony Arcaro as treasurer. On December 3rd and 4th. the senior class presented its annual production. The play, Glamour Boy, under the capable direction of Miss Gloria Stern, was a huge success. The cast included David Rich, Nancy Keefer. William Haws, Martin Reilly, Jane VanDerKarr. Robert Bevilacqua, John Walter, Janice Lindstrom, Patricia Galvin, Janice Stauffer, Beverly Basile. Clyde Hunt, Patricia Pickard, Mata Battye, Sharon Vieau, and Thomas Ranalli. SPRING TERM Spring term officers, elected in February, were David Rich, president; Gerda Rommel, vice-president; Jeanne Hebert, secretary; and Martin Reilly, treasurer. On May 12th following the senior breakfast, given by the Mothers’ Club unique class day exercises were held. Then, when the Senior Ball was presented in the main ballroom of Hotel Syracuse on May 21st, starry-eyed couples danced dreamily to the unforget- table rhythms of Jack Kreischer and his orchestra. Climaxed on June 25th with the graduation exercises, the high school days of the class of 1954 drew to a close.
