This book contains the people that made Eastside happen this year. This new decade started off right with these fads and fash- ions. Downfilled vests, Levi’s, hik- ing boots and cowboy hats were all part of EHS. Along with these physical changes, the adminis- tration was changed. The stu- dents grew accustomed to the different ways of the new princi- pal, Mrs. Peggy Cowen and as- sistant principal, Mr. Rex Bo- linger. Mrs. Cowen made many changes during the year, one of which was to install a Lance can- dy machine for the students’ use. Ping-pong tables and chess and checker boards were installed in the lunch room for more enjoy- ment. So come with us through the pages of this yearbook and see how EHS began the new decade!
