At first, it seemed like any typical Monday morning in October at Eastside. But taking a closer look at the students, it was noticed that they had their clothes on backwards I Were they starting a new fashion trend? Actually, it was just the first day of Spirit Week, in honor of Homecoming. The rest of the week, students showed their spirit by dressing down, wearing green and white, dressing up, and as the conclusion of the week, Grease Day. On Thursday and Friday, The Challenge of the Classes was held. The over- all winners were the sophomores. A Spirit Bonfire and Snake Dance was held Thursday evening. Spirit Week was aptly named because everyone was full of spirit and school pride during Homecoming Week.
