Miss Eastside This year's Miss Eastside con- test was a full variety of enter- tainment. The girls worked very hard preparing for this event. The winners ofthe Miss Eastside contest are judged by the new teachers. They are chosen on talent, poise, and beauty. This year's winners were Miss Sherry Friedel and Miss Debbie Culbertson. The two girls then have the chance to participate for the Miss De- Kalb County title. Sherry sang, The Wedding Song, as her entry. During her years at East- side she has been an active member in many clubs. She is a member of the Thespian Society, and has acted in many plays. She has also been a Blaz- ette for three years. Debbie's talent consisted of a gymnastic routine done to a piano con- certo. Debbie is the President of GAA, member of National Honor Society, Varsity Cheer- leader, and a member of the OEA club. During her stay at EHS she has been active in all of the GAA sports offered. l l Diane Owsley Miss Eastside: Sherry Friedel Miss Eastside: Debbie Culbertson Lori Resor
