Pep Sessions An enthusiastic Student Body opens the 1967- 1968 Basketball Season with a spirit arousing pep session. Mr. Wilder presents a deserving team with the Spirit Stick. The Eastside Blazers versus the Albion Trojans, Sophomores pluck the Fremont Eagle, Mr. Reynol as portrayed by the Seniors.

Highlights The Eastside Concert Choir gave their annual Christmas Concert prior to the dismissal for Christmas Vacation. The program included the traditional songs of Christmas from Joy to the World to selections from Handel's Messiah. Members of the faculty are honored. Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire. In raising money for additional choir robes, the Music Boosters sponsored a basketball game between the Eastside Faculty and the WOWO Air Aces on Jan- uary 25. A capacity crowd viewed the antics of the Air Aces as they captured a close victory. Besides providing for a worthy cause the venture was highly en- tertaining and a delightful treat. Serving as the cheerleaders were Linda Long, Linda Reynolds, Carolyn Hoffer and Mary Helen Kurtz. Mr. Neuhouser scores with Cigna close behind. 15
