INTRODUCING A MAJOR HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR: THE SEVENTY-FOUR PIECE RICHMOND SENIOR HIGH ORCHESTRA CONDUCTED BY RALPH BURKHARDT Members of the Richmond Senior High School Orchestra arrive the night before they are to give a concert at Eastside on Decem- ber 15. New friends were quickly made with Eastside Chorus and Band students, with whom they were housed. Jackie Hook demonstrates Eastside hospitality to her guests. From Victory at Sea to the Hal- lelujah Chorus, members of the Richmond Orchestra delightfully entertained Eastside students. Conductor Ralph Burkhardt asks the members of the Orchestra who had been students of Eastside music teachers Richard and Paula Foster, formerly of Richmond, to stand.
