ADMINISTRATION Superintendent Kenneth Cole Finishing his first full year as the Superintendent of the DeKalb Eastern Schools, Mr. Kenneth Cole has won the respect and admiration of the several thousand persons involved in the district schools . His close association with the students, teachers, and administrators of the district has allowed him to become a familiar part of everyday life. Work- ing in close co-operation with the School Board, Superintendent Cole guides the educational system of the Eastern DeKalb District. The School Board of DeKalb County Eastern Com- munity Schools under the leadership of President Delbert Washier considered and devoted much time to the planning and organizing of the new Eastside High School. The Board meets in regular session in Superintendent Cole's office in the Butler Elementary. Within the guidlines set by this capable group of men, the schools of the district operate. Mr. Kent Myers Mr. Joe Smith ADMINISTRATION Heading the student body of Eastside High School this year was Mr. Kent Myers, principal. With the close of the 1966-67 school year, Mr. Myers ends his fourth year as principal of Eastside's six hundred students, having been principal since the consolidation began. For the first time this year, Mr. Joe Smith came to Eastside as assistant principal, having been principal of Riverdale for many years. Together with Mr . Charles Hampel, new principal at Riverdale, Mr. Smith has co-ordinated the junior high programs at Butler and Riverdale. Mr. Charles Hampel Compliments of AUBURN SOFT WATER SERVICE

Kaiser, who took charge of the afternoon study halls . All pictured on this page were aided by able student assistants. Mrs. Musser bagan this year as office secretary, Girl Friday , at the Riverdale School. Mrs. Loretta Musser Working as secretaries to DeKalb Eastern School's Superintendent Cole, Mrs Laux and Mrs .
