Educators from various par- ishes in the state visited the Center, where Mrs. Anderson demonstrated Conceptual Con- servation. Her purpose was to give continuity to the progres- sive teaching of forest conser- vation through all grades. A :S is HI! 5? bk The first-grade conservation demonstration class at East- side High School, Farmerville, has had two field trips to the woods near the school. -The class has made t-able-top dis- plays, posters and chart-stories about their trips and has had the District Forester, Mr. Jack Rockett, show slides and talk to them about forests. Anderson, pictured above, gave a lecture to college seniors, visiting and sipervising teachers and staff members recently at the Forestry Workshop, Arkansas AMAN College, Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Mrs. Anderson purpose was to give continuity to the progressive teachiriig of dlBSt Conservation through all grades. She has one demonstration teaching' in the area of onseration and teachers from throughout Nort Louisiana have sat in on some of these demonstration lessons.
