The program is based on the prem- ise that the goals and objectives of education and guidance are commensurable, as both are concerned with adjustment to environment and to development of social competence. Emphasis is placed on educational experiences and on guid- ance services which present situations conducive to self- direction, self-discipline, and self-understanding. DEPARTMENTS IN ORDER TO COPE WITH THE NEEDS OF EVERY STUDENT EFFICIENTLY, A SCHOOL IVIUST HAVE DEPARTIVIENTS. THOUGH THEY SEEIVI SEPARATE. EACH STRIVING TO ACHIEVE THE HIGHEST STAND- ARDS IN THEIR AREA, THEY ACTUALLY WORK COLLECTIVELY FOR THE GOOD OF THE STUDENT AND THE SCHOOL. NOT ONLY DO THEY ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE, BUT THEY ALSO ENGAGE IN PLAN NING NUIVIEROUS EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES! THEY SPONSOR IVIANY EVENTS AND OUTINGS THAT HELP TO SHAPE AND MOLD THE STUDENTS' CHARAC- TER. OUT DEPARTIVIENTS ARE WORKING TOWARD EVEN GREATER ACHIEVEIVIENTS IN THE FUTURE AND WE ARE CERTAIN THAT TIIVIE WILL SHOW THE EXPANDING SCOPE OF OUR DEPARTIVIENTS IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION.
