SENIOR CLASS HISTORY On a warm fall day, the first of September, each excited yet scared freshman entered E. H. S. Even though it is a small school, it looked mighty big to us as we started climbing the steps. After reaching the study hall and finding the freshman row, we were not quite so scared, as there were eighteen of us. Roma Younger, Jean Baker, Bonnie Noland, Pat Keith, Norman Pierson, Charles McManus, Mary Walker, Jimmie Waller, Junior Pfleiderer, Stanley Vogel, Lawrence Bodle, Betty Weipert, Veronica Kneib, Helen Wertin, Frances Carmichael, Wanda Keith, Ellene and Jolene O'Gonnor were our names. Our freshman year proved to be an exciting one. This year was a quiet one for us. We enjoyed a tour of St. Joseph's industries. Some of our better ath- letes began their team work. We lost one of our classmates when Jean Baker moved to Plattsburg. During the Junior year we were getting into CLASS for we sat next to the last row of seats. We lost three of our members. Jolene and Ellene O'Connor changed to Gower, and Stanley Vogel went to Central, but we gained two new members, Wesley Welsh from Agency, and Jerry Joe Cook from Sullivan.
