The music for the dance was furnished by Lu Parish and his orchestra. BACCALAUREATE SERVICE The Baccalaureate Service for the Graduating Class of 1953 was held at Saint Mark's Methodist Church on Sunday, May 31, 1953, at 8 P.M. The Graduating Class entered as the processional hymn was being played. The invocation, followed by a number by the choir, preceded the scripture lesson and pastoral prayer. After two more choir selections, Dr. Walter A. Hearn, retired minister of the Methodist Church, preached the Baccalaureate Sermon. Following the sermon, the entire congregation sang the closing song, God Be With You Till We Meet Again. The benediction was then prayed, and the Graduates left the church as the recessional hymn was played on the organ. A host of parents and friends of the Graduates attended this Baccalaureate Service. It was one of the finest in the history of E.H.S. AWARD NIGHT4-June 2, 1953 - 8 P.M.
