THE I) EWEY DECIMAL CLUB President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Kenny Williams Sophie Nicholas Sandra Getter Hariiara Shively Assistant Treasurer Rose Marie Frinzi Advisers Mrs. Edna Currie Mr. Merryl Rentschler This is one of the oldest organizations in the school. It was chartered Feb- ruary 14, 1928, and has been re-organized every year since. It is composed of members who devote their time during school hours and after school to improve library service for students and teachers. These students take library attendance, arrange guidance material, keep books clean, and mend the older books. The members of this club also file slips, send out a monthly library bulletin listing and describing the contents of new books, and keep the card catalogue up to date. Other duties of the club members are checking books in and out, putting the books on the shelves, and binding current magazines and papers in an orderly fashion on racks. 26
