Eastmoor 77 South Easlmoor WEST - - -- Class AA Tournament Eastmoor Linden McKinley , Eastmoor 68 North The Warriors began their season quite successfully with a 53-41 win over London. The next ten games were won by Eastmoor's opponents. This included the Warren, Ohio, tournament when the Warriors were downed by Youngstown East 65-55, and also by Cleveland John Adams, 81-60. After bowing to East 75-43, our fighting five began to chalk up an impressive record of victories. We started off by tromping Big Walnut 67-36. The next game was a 59-57 thriller over Aquinas, which was also Eastmoor's first City League win. The Warriors then travelled to St. Charles to overpower the Cardinals 52-46. Our second City League victory came when we swamped Marion Franklin 66-40. North slowed the Warriors pace when we lost in a 79-70 thriller. Eastmoor's fighting Warriors rebounded by walloping Utica 72-51. We polished our season to a high gloss by whipping South 77-64. In the Class AA Dis- trict Tournament, the Warriors won over North 68-67. This was the most exciting game of the year, as the winner was not determined until ten minutes after the game had ended. 156
