Members of the Columbus Board of Education include Mr, William R. Fornof, Mrs. Ralph H. Davidson, Mr. Edward N. Sloan, Mr. Daniel W De Hayes Cpresidentl, Mr. Frank S. Williams, Mr. Paul R. Langdon Cvice-presidentl, and Mr. Homer Trantham. BOARD OF EDUCATIO DR. HAROLD EIBLING, Superintendent ot Columbus Public Schools. I2 The seven members ot the Board ot Education are the hardest-working group in our school system. Their main iobs are planning the policy of the system and seeing how well their plans are carried out. They are elected to tour-year terms, working without pay. Since August 13, 1956, Dr. Harold Eibling has served as Superintendent of Columbus Schools. In that time twenty new schools have been built, and thirty-two more are scheduled to be operating by 1965. One ot these is a new iunior-senior high school in the Living- ston Avenue and Black Walnut Creek Area which will open next fall.
