The tive queen candidates with their escorts are being introduced to the crowd at the homecoming game. They are Curt Haywood, Judy Dutton, Larry Spangler, Rita Kastl, Angel Burnette, Jack Moore, Claudette Corbett, Jim Wilson, Ellen Appelbaum, and Walt Wilke. HOMECOMI G GAM Angel Burnette is congratulated by Bill Gillam, student council president, on being chosen the 1959-60 Homecom- ing Queen. l28 The Homecoming Game against Linden McKinley was high- lighted during the half-time by the announcement of this year's Eastmoor Homecoming Queen. Bill Gillam, our student council president, announced the members of the Court. First to come on the field was Claudette Corbett with Jim Wilson. Second was Ellen Appelbaum and Walt Wilke. Rita Kastl and Larry Spangler followed next. A hush went over the crowd as the last member of the court was announced-Judy Dutton accompanied by Curt Haywood. Applause broke the silence as Angel Burnette was an- nounced as Queen. She was presented with a football signed by the football squad. , -'l f .
