The PIECE DE RESISTANCE fQr this year's GRANDE FETE was BIFTOK CUIT AU FOUR. Steve Stellman of Eastmoor was MAITRE DES CEREMONIES for the program of skits and music. Eastmoor's skit titled QUELQUES CHOSE DE DIFFERENT included the following people: Ken Bachmann, Rita Engleman, Sue Israel, Dave Hillenbrand, Andrea Helman, Sue Steffy, Mary Ellen Strohbach, Andrea Gorenstein, Diana Davis, Terrie Rose, Geraldine Webster, Jane Ramseyer, and Mary Beth Morris. Mrs. Waltz and Mr. Tharp were faculty co-chairmen of the event. I l '?e-W, Discussions are typical of the meetings of the French Club. Parlez-vous francais? Those students who speak French are eligible to ioin the French Club which is advised by Mr. Tharp. The most important event of the year is the annual French Banquet. Schools from all over the city participate and compete with each other through carefully prepared French skits. The members also see movies, read plays, and hear stories about France. SPA 'ISH CLUB 4QHabIa usted espanol? Any Spanish Club member can translate this question. Students are members of this club be- cause they are interested in learning more about the customs, music, and in- dustries of Spanish-speaking countries. In their meetings they have movies, talks, games, and records. Robert Miranda informs his fellow students of the customs of his native country, Puerto Rico. Officers of the Spanish Club are Diane Haley, vice-president and Fran Bruner, president. Mr. Steele is the adviser. I05
