Thcspian Troupe 1715 has grown by leaps and bounds. Its first production of the year was Home Sweet Homicide, a mystery-comedy. Seniors, juniors, and sophomores all put blood, sweat and toil into the play. As usual there were many ob- structions, but the Thespians vanquished them, and Home Sweet Homicide was a success. Thcspian members are not just actors, they are also students who work on costumes, make- up, props, stage crew directing, prompting, posters, tickets, stage designing, and sound ef- fects. Points are given for participation. When a student has amassed ten points he is a member for life. From there he is given a gold star for each ten points he earns. At the end of the year the troupe members vote for the Thespian of the year. Miss Bruns gives the director's award. Leading Thespians this year were Dean Brett-- presidentg Bobbie Hinde--vice-president, Judy Campbell--secretary-treasurer3 and Mandy Jo Taplett--historian. 5 Q e L va TH ESPIANS ROW 1: Judy Campbell, Dean Brett, Mandy Jo Taplett, Bobbie Hinde, Miss Bruns.
