BAN D Officers of the band this year were Mike Nelson--president: Ron Messersmith--vice- president: and Teddy Munch--secretary-treasurer. The band was kept busy by Fall, Christ- mas, and Spring concerts, a trip to Pullman, several exchange concerts, the solo and en- semble contest at Moses Lake, and a trip to the Waterville Fair. The band also marched at the football games and in the Apple Blossom Festival. It played at pep assemblies and basket ball games and attended the North Central Washington Music Contest. As always, the band played an important part fno pun intendedy in contributing to the representation of the school and to the maintenance of school spirit.

GAA Girls' Athletic Association for this year was made up of girls interested in participating in athletic activities. They shared honors in softball, volleyball, bowling, and badminton, tournaments at Wenatchee, Cashmere, Ellensburg, and Chelan, as well as at Eastmont. This year's advisor for the organization was Mrs. Ball. A very enjoyable UQ waist-slimming, and energetic time was had by all.
