PEP CLUB The purpose of Pep Club was to promote school spirit, not only for games but throughout the school day. The officers of Pep Club this year were Sandra Grant--president: Karen Dean--vice-president: Susan Lancaster--secretary: and Lee Vonne Nickles--treasurer. Mrs. Ball was the advisor for this all-girl organization. Among Pep Club's activities were presenting skits at pep assemblies and having a yearly im provement project, both for the school and the club. One of the major improvements for the club was the change of uniforms. Flared skirts replaced the old pleated ones.

Our Drill Team in action? The Drill Team, a precision marching unit, represented Eastmont High in the Apple Blos- som Parade and marched at half-time during several basketball games. They also added color to the Homecoming Game half-time ac- tivities. Eastmont's Drill Team was advised by Miss Clark. The officers were: Karen Bradford- Drill Leader and Becky Flaherty-Assistant DRILL TEAM Drill Leader.
