It is a member of the Women 's Professional Panhellenic Association and as such requires that its members maintain the highest professional and scholastic standards. Among its alumnae and honorary members are many internationally known artists, teachers, and composers. The aims of the Fraternity are to uphold the highest ideals of a musical education, to raise the standards of productive musical vvork, to further the development of music in America, and assist in the development of a stronger bond of musical interest between foreign countries and America, to give moral and material aid to its members, to promote and dignify the musical profession, and to develop loyalty to the Alma Mater. Among the Fraternity's National Projects is its regular contribution to the MacDowell Colony in Peterboro, N. H. Sigma Theta, founded in 1925, is one of the seventy active chapters of the Fraternity. DELTA UMICRUN RHUUHAPTEP1 Delta Omicron, national music sorority, aims to create and foster fellowship among musicians during their student days, to give aid to worthy women musicians, and to further the cause of American music. Rho Chapter endeavors to carry on this aim by awarding annually a scholarship of one hundred dollars to a worthy and needy member. Two formal musicales, an informal party for eligible women, and the recital by Charles Riker were sponsored by Rho Chapter this year. Delta Omicron was founded in 1909 at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Cincinnati, Ohio. Rho Chapter was established in 1925.
