Physical Education The Physical Education Program at Eastern Wayne High offers many different activities. lln the fall, students participate in team hand- ball, football, and volleyball. During the win- ter months, they play basketball, and badmitton. In spring, tennis, softball, and track are offered. The Advanced Physical Education course consists of aerobics, weight training, and run- ning. A physical fitness test is also adminis- tered. Conditioning and drills are geared to- wards the individual sport. The coaches in the physical education department are Bill Garner, Bill Geiman, Bobby Wolfe, and Gerald Wisenhunt. 5 vi? ,. M ,. The Art Department Is Artistically Making Its Mark! The Art Department is a very important one at Eastern Wayne. NVithout one, liastern XVayne would not have decorations ter the proms, gradu- ations, pep rallies, and many more functions. Ms. Rebecca Loy is the art teacher and coordinator for the art classes. She is quite an artist herself. She has many talented students this year. A few of the outstanding ones are Melody and Maria O'Tuel, Carmon Tigner. and Robert Alves. The artwork that is done for Eastern Wayne is much appreciated by the teachers and student body. Ms. Loy, the art teacher and coordinator.
