Flag Girls Salute Their School. At the Christmas Parade, the 1986-87 Flag Girls were a sight to behold. Their flags waved and hillowed through the air they marched down the crowded streets and past the judges, stand, getting tremendous applause and approv- ing nods from the crowd. As each paraded hy, one could tell she was proud of her school. The flags waved in the same direction as their eye-catching skirts. The Flag Girls performed routines to the music ofthe Eastern Wayne Band. Of' course, they had prac- ticed hour aftcr hour to get the routines perfect during the 1986-87 school year. As always, the Flag Girls added an extra fea- ture to each Eastern Wayne pep rally and game. They dazzled the student body with their flag performances and quick swings. The Flag Girls were directed and sponsored by Mr. Angelo Hol- man. They are truly a part ofthe greatness of Eastern Wayne High. srr l.aa Look at the camera, Girls!
