Warriorettes Show Their Stuff. The 1986-87 VVarriorettes are a wonder to everyone who sees them in performance. WVith their stylish uniforms and up-to-date dances, everyone watches with enthusiasm as they move. They dance to well-known tunes that keep heads nodding, feet tapping, hands clapping, and fingers snapping. In pep rallies, they are a delight to see, because no one knows what to ex- pect next. Under the direction of Mr. Angelo Holman, every step has to be perfected before it can be used in a routine. They are also sponsored by Mrs. Gloria Burney. There are nineteen Warriorettes, each possessing a skill Hur dancing which awes the observer. VVhy are they such fine performers? Because they practice, practice, and practice at getting the routines right. Their practices are held at least two and sometimes three times a week. Each Warriorette must attend. Teaching H1056 routines are a serious matter tor Co-captains Felisha Daniels and Montez Lane. They work extremely hard to make the squad successtiil. As a fund raiser, the Wfarriorettes sold choco- late candy to raise money to purchase pom poms in November, 1986.
