The leacling scorers dur- ing the season were Amy Price with an average of9 points a game, Montez Lane with an average ofT points, Lisa Bauman, Dia Hamilton, and Sissy Owen all at an average of 5 points a piece, and last, hut not least, Lynn Seymour with an average ot'4 points a game. Coach Kleiman was confident during the sea- son, ancl he had the right to lie. The coach had even higher expectations for the 1987-88 season. ' 'iBoomer is at it again. 108 f Girls Basketball Lady Warriors Dribble The1r The 1986-87 Girls Basketball Team dribbled its Way through the year, taking on all opposing teams. Mr. Bill Geiman, head coach, was very con- fident of his girls, perfor- mances during the 1986- 87 season. HI believe that We will win plenty of con- terence games behire the season endsf' stated the Coach ofthe team. uThey are a hustling hunch of girls and I feel very con- fident about themf, The girls team was comprised of unmention- able talent this year. Leading them were Amy Price, Lisa Bauman, Sissy Owen, Lynn Seymour, Montez Lane, Dia Ham- ilton, Dana Roberts, Euba Wilkerson, Natasha jones, Felicia Artis, and Michelle Reed. They ended their season with a 3-9 overall record. The Lady Warriors were ex- pected to Win many ot their conference games. The Lady VVarriors had many hard-fought battles during the year, but none was as exciting as with the longtime arch-rival, Southern VVayne. It was a hard fought game, and at the halt, the score was 27- 16. Amy Price was the leading scorer that night, with 22 points, shooting an outstanding 6012 from the floor.
