Eastern 's tfampus Expanding Heating Plant Estimated to be completed in fall, 1970 is the new Heating Plant, to be located at the north edge of the campus between the Streeter Hall parking lot and Washington Street. The project, which will provide steam services, electrical power, and chilled water for the air-conditioning of campus buildings, is estimated to cost 31,800,000 Patterson Hall To be located at the center of the campus in front of the present SUB is Patterson Hall, the new home of the Division of Languages and Literature. The project, costing S1,335,000, will be ready for occupancy in lVlarch, 1970. The building, named after retired President Don S. Music Building Located at the south end of the campus on a former Physical Education field, will be the new Nlusic Building, to be used for all music programs, Estimated occupancy date of the project, which costs S1,375,000, is June, 1970. Among the principal rooms are Division and Departmental Offices, Recital Hall, lVlusic Labs, and Practice Rooms. Speech Clinic Next to the new Music Building, as part of the all new Creative Arts center, will be the General Speech and Speech Clinic, a project costing S687,500. The building, expected to be completed by June, 1970, will contain the Speech Clinic office and reception room, Faculty Offices, Observation rooms, Diagnostic room, and Speech classrooms.
