wb- 'KLSA Goltotis message The staff of the 1964 Kinnikinick presents to you, the students, this book of memories. Our purpose was the creation of something unique in annuals. After much thought, and some rather heated debate, we decided that the only theme should be the students themselves, recorded informally in the total experience of the college year. Most of the pictures are candid and lim sure that you will he surprised, maybe even pleasantly horrified, to discover that our photogra- phers were around when you least suspected it! At this time, as editor, I would like to personally thank the wonderful staff that worked on this book. They worked as a team united. They worked days and nights that sometimes seemed endless. They gave up dates, study time, sleep, and even class time to meet deadlines. Our photographers worked re- lentlessly to produce pictures of top quality. Our advisor, Pat McManus, gave us many ideas and moments of encouragement, and we appreciate his help very much. Many thanks also to the students and faculty for their cooperation and for providing us with the necessary materials, not the least of which were them- selves. And so the final deadline. Memories are fleet creatures of the mind. I hope that we have captured some of the rarer species for you in the pages of the 1964 Kinnikinick, and that they will serve you well for many, many years.
