K -'CQPIQ E3 l KINNIKINICK --:eQf I+ VISITORS' DAY Friday, February 25, was a gala day for the Training School. It was visitors' and exhibition day. Each grade put all its work out on exhibition so that the parents and friends could see what progress had been made, the material being displayed in the halls. Booklets, pre- pared by the different grades on projects in Reading, History, Geography, Hygiene and Arithmetic, were also on exhibition as were others in Spelling. Sand tables displaying geographic scenes were exhibited by the primary and intermediate grades. Nature study ma- terial in the shape of cut-out pictures and clay models of birds and animals formed the exhibition of the fourth graders. The Manual Arts and Sewing classes also presented examples of their skill in these handicrafts. The purpose of the exhibition was to show the progress the pupils were making in their daily work, rather than to make a special display for the occasion.
