Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program EVMS ODU The Departments of Biological and Chemical Sciences at Old Dominion University and the basic science departments of Eastern Virginia Medical School jointly offer course work and research opportunities leading to the Ph.D. in biomedical sciences. The program of study leading to the Ph.D. is interdisciplinary, providing a breadth of knowledge in the basic biomedical sciences. The student uses this breadth to study specific biomedical problems in depth in advanced course work and research.
